Some teachers assignments:

In my opinion this course of NEW INFORMATION TECHNOLOGIES is very useful. I think also that Frederick Emrich is doing well and enough for his students. He is very attentive and tryes to help his students with some problems that relate to course.

I found weblogs world is wonderful, it is as tool to communicate, to observe, to develop some skills (for example writing skills), sometimes judge others weblogs.

Is there something I can do that will help you keep up with regular posting on your weblog?

I want to say that nobody can force somebody to do something because everyone has right and will to do or not to do. (It is from Ethics in Journalism and human rights)

To help student making regular entries I think our teacher must check these new entries each class at the classroom. May be it will be best solution

And I want to advice something to Frederick Emrich:

At the beginning of semester when you say to creat weblog may be you should say that topic of weblog must relate to new information technologies.

Because For example I have weblog with title “CHILDREN ARE FLOWERS OF LIFE” but when I answer on some teachers question that relates to newinfotechs my weblog looks like… I don’ t know even how to call it. I think that everyone understand me.

Thank you very much MISS DUKENBAEVA

Assignment

My community: YOUTH PARLIAMENT

I am deputy of Youth PArliament in KIMEP. This organization was created by Director of Internship program KREPAK . We have president two vise presidents and deputies.

WHAT  is the role of this organization?

Students “deputies” are involved in legislative process , the same as in professional parliament. We learn economic and politic sides of our country, the statements of president and government and finally we discuss bills from Astana Parliament.

I am future Journalist but most of my time and diligence I spend to Social science department.

I think I am journalist and we must to know about everything, to know fresh news.

that is why this organization is interesting for me.

We have special days for meeting and discussions. Now our organization, dean of social science and director of internship program are working on orginizing international student conference in the middle of April.

My role in this organization is to cover all important events of YOUTH PARLIAMENT. And also make some commissions that were decided by all deputies.

 THAT IS ALL!!!!

Advantage and disadvantage of new information technologies

Our time we can say 21st century is time of new information technologies. In my point of view there are one advantage and disadvantage of it.

First of all it is great huge advantage that we have we (WORLD) achieved this level, level of super connections.

Firstly people had only to get information mouth-to mouth. Then newspapers–radio–television–Internet–mobile phones and so on.

Of course it is amazing when you can interact by Internet with your friend, for example from Italy or Saudi Arabia.  You can send emailsor sms by telephone in 3 seconds. you can pay for your public utilities by mobile phones and even turn on and off light in the room by the same cell phone.

By Television you can see real picture of Russia even you have never been there.

All new technologies bring laziness to people. I understand the speed of our time. In my childhood we didn’t watch TV and all day sat in front of computers. we were just children and run in the streets playing with ball. We read a lot.

Protect Children

boycomputer.gif

Children and Internet is serious issue in time of new information technology.

Line
Youth Internet Safety Survey indicates some statistic and research about it.

Among the many findings of Finkelhor’s survey, the most significant is that we are only beginning to realize the extent of the complex and increasingly prevalent phenomenon of Internet-based crimes against children.

We have much to learn about the magnitude of the problem, the characteristics of its victims and perpetrators, its impact on children, and strategies for prevention and intervention
